September holidays in North Devon
Our luxury apartments have breathtaking open sea views over Lynmouth Harbour, for a self catering holiday that has so much to offer. Visit and explore Exmoor in September for an autumn getaway like no other. You can relax in cosy comfort watching the dramatic coastline with the log burning fire on or get out and about for an invigorating adventure along Exmoor National Park amongst the ponies and wildlife. We adore your well behaved, four legged companions too and there are some beautiful trails if you are looking for a walking holiday, helping you make the most of a dog friendly stay in Devon.
The perfect break for everyone.
The area offers a splendid array of local bars, tea rooms and eateries to choose from, many within walking distance. With plenty to see and do for the whole family too, child friendly days out and a diverse range of attractions and seasonal events throughout the year providing experiences and memories to last a lifetime. This wonderful place was certainly created to spoil, rejuvenate and delight. Lynmouth Exmoor National Park Centre is a wonderful hub of information and intrigue, always worth a visit to get to know the area. The town of Lynton is very close by, sitting 500ft above Lynmouth and connected by the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway. Lynton, a vibrant Victorian village is affectionately considered to be Exmoor’s foodie hotspot, you truly are spoilt for choice when it comes to food and drink. We also have some beautiful beach spots if you need a little bit of beach action, often popular with surfers, with coves of historical wonder and perfect for rock pooling. The Western Beach is a particular favourite of ours. You might even see some dolphins! It is always advisable to check tide times before visiting to maximise the fun and stay safe.
Heavenly Devon short stay holidays
It’s not hard to see why this part of the world is so well loved, any time spent here feels like luxury, but September is particularly special. With its natural beauty and rich history, Lynmouth tells romantic tales of old with its rows of fishing cottages and shops that surround the harbour of bobbing boats. We are very lucky as both Lynmouth and Lynton have a wealth of independent shops selling handmade arts, crafts and local produce, much loved by locals and visitors. When you stay with us during September, you can enjoy a sea view or riverside apartment, with easy access to everything Lynmouth Bay has to offer away from the height of the holidays.
