Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a wood burning stove, outdoor space, and either sea views or wooded valley views, a short walk from Lynmouth harbour.

Are the apartments at Tors Park suitable for families?

Yes. Tors Park’s one, two and three bedroom apartments suit families of all sizes, and every bedroom can be configured as a king or twins. Lynmouth’s beach, the cliff railway and Exmoor’s walks are all on the doorstep, making it a natural base for a family holiday in North Devon.

Are there pet-friendly apartments at Tors Park?

Yes. Tors Park offers dog-friendly luxury apartments in Lynmouth, so you can bring your dog to explore Exmoor with you. Dogs stay for a small charge of £25 per stay, and each property page shows whether that apartment welcomes dogs.

Is parking included at Tors Park?

Yes. Tors Park has on-site parking for up to 40 cars, including 24 EV chargers, just a short walk above Lynmouth harbour — a real advantage in a village where public parking is limited.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in at Tors Park is from 4pm and check-out is by 10am on the day of departure. If you arrive early, you are welcome to park on site and explore Lynmouth while your apartment is prepared.

Is there a minimum stay at Tors Park?

Minimum stays vary by season, with short breaks available for much of the year. Enter your dates on the booking calendar to see availability for the length of stay you want.

How do I book, and what deposit is required?

You can book directly on the Tors Park website. A 25% deposit secures your booking, with the balance due six weeks before arrival; bookings made within six weeks of arrival are payable in full.

Can I cancel or change my booking?

Bookings at Tors Park can be cancelled free of charge up to 30 days before arrival. If your plans change, contact our team and we will do our best to move your dates. Full details are in our booking terms and conditions.

Why book directly with Tors Park?

Booking directly on the Tors Park website guarantees the best available rate, direct contact with our team before and during your stay, and the most flexible cancellation terms — with no third-party booking fees.

What is included in the apartments?

Every Tors Park apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen, a wood burning stove with fuel, fast WiFi, bed linen and towels, and its own outdoor space. Many apartments add extras such as coffee machines, boiling water taps, wine fridges, Sky TV and sound systems — each property page lists its amenities.

Do the apartments have sea views?

Many of the apartments at Tors Park have sea views over the Bristol Channel, while others look across the wooded Lyn valley. Each property page states which views that apartment enjoys.

Does Tors Park offer concierge services?

Yes. The Tors Park concierge team can arrange activities such as sea kayaking, surfing, coasteering and e-bike tours, organise transport, book spa treatments and wellness sessions, and arrange private chefs or catering during your stay.

What dining options are there when self-catering at Tors Park?

Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, and Lynmouth and Lynton — a short walk away — offer pubs, restaurants and cafés for nights off from cooking. For something special, local chefs can provide anything from a welcome platter to full private dining in your apartment, and the outdoor Terrace has a BBQ and communal tables with sea views.

Is luxury self-catering better value than a luxury hotel?

Often, yes — particularly for families and groups. A Tors Park apartment gives you multiple bedrooms, a full kitchen and private living space for the price of one or two hotel rooms, and self-catering means you choose when eating out is worth it. Add-ons like spa treatments, yoga classes and private chefs let you build hotel-style service only where you want it.

Does self-catering offer more privacy than a hotel?

Yes. At Tors Park your apartment is entirely your own — living space, kitchen, and outdoor area — with no shared corridors or set mealtimes. You get the privacy of a holiday home with hotel-style extras such as concierge services, a spa, sauna and yoga deck available whenever you want them.

Is there a swimming pool at Tors Park?

No — Tors Park has no pool, but it offers something rarer: a woodland sauna and cold plunge deck, the Watersmeet Spa, and wild swimming in Lynmouth Bay a short walk away, with the local Lyn Seals swimming group meeting regularly for sea dips.

Is Tors Park an eco-friendly place to stay?

Sustainability is central to Tors Park, from the restoration of the historic buildings to 24 on-site EV chargers and a focus on local suppliers and produce. You can read more on our sustainability page.

Do the apartments have modern features and technology?

Yes. Alongside their period character, the apartments are newly renovated with fast WiFi throughout, and many include Sky TV, sound systems, boiling water taps and coffee machines, with 24 EV chargers on site. Each property page lists that apartment’s features.

How do I get to Tors Park, and can I visit without a car?

Tors Park is in Lynmouth, North Devon, around 30 minutes from Barnstaple and an hour from the M5 at Tiverton. Arriving without a car is possible — the nearest rail stations are Barnstaple and Tiverton Parkway, with onward buses or taxis — and our team can help arrange transfers and local transport during your stay.

Can I book multiple apartments for a group or celebration?
